A beautiful tail of two dogs that became members of your family.

What a beautiful tale and painting. I have 3 dogs 1 black Labrador is a definite foody, but at least discerning. She’ll eat a loaf of bread without thinking but won’t eat liver. The other black Labrador isn’t really bothered by food. He loves his dinner but his ball is the training aid.

The smallest my son’s french bulldog, Bonnie, eats anything and everything including the other’s food unless stopped. She hoovers the kitchen floor, eats primroses (not good), got a whole packet of my sons mini Cadbury’s cream eggs and sour patch sweets. I won’t recount the results on each occasion. Son and dog were nearly evicted. I now need kaolin in the house at all times. If Bonnie wants a particular sleeping spot and it’s occupied she just sits on the others until they move. Yet she can walk under the bellies of both of them. Which has its advantage when doing a hit and run for the treats

Thank you, Jo. Glad you enjoyed it. I loved reading about your dogs. Bonnie sounds a hoot, getting her own way whatever it takes! Pets add so much to our lives, don't they?

I own two chocolate Labradors called Cadi (10 year old) and Mabli (7 year old). Mabli, ever since she was a puppy, can be heard hoovering up her food and is so greedy as she continuously checks on food bowls throughout the day!!!! 🤣😘🙏❤️

Mabi sounds like Buck, always on the look out for food. Bertie, my own Basset Fauve de Britannia, now no longer with us, (14 when he passed on) also loved food but was very good about not stealing it, unlike Buck!
