Did you, or do you, drink coffee as a midlifer?
A study has found that women who drink caffeinated coffee between the ages of 45 and sixty were more likely to age in good health. Here’s a link to the article about the study.
The 7 life-changing benefits of music
This is a link to an article on the benefits of music.
And here’s a piece of music by Luigi Boccherini (1743-1805), the Italian born composer who spent the majority of his career in Spain. The fandango is a dance which originated in Spain and Portugal. I love this version of it, with the dancer in her gorgeous outfit, and her castanets.
This week’s podcast is not a reading of this post as it’s too short. I recorded a reading of a previous post that didn’t have a podcast. It’s titled: The New Way To Grow Old.
Next Week:
Watch out for next week’s post, which will be a longer, in depth look at ageing healthily titled: The Art of Ageing Well By Following The Science. The subtitle is: How to take charge of your own aging process.
This will be the pattern in future, one short post, followed by one longer in depth post. I’m trying this out so that I can spend some time on the books I’ve started and need to finish. I hope you like it.

Loved both the music and the visuals!
Makes me want to run out and buy some castanets!
Still love to see/hear music live...sometimes I'm a bit grumpy to leave the house but once I'm enjoying the event I'm so glad i got out!
