I know what you mean, Mary, about sometimes not wanting to go out but enjoying it when you do. I can be the same. It pleases me that you loved the video because I do!
I loved this video. I didn’t really know the difference between fandango and flamenco, even though I was trained eons ago as a dancer. So I did a little digging: despite similarities, fandango is more light and joyful with the castanets, while flamenco uses the stamping of feet to create rhythms and is darker, more passionate. In this video, I was more drawn to the music, and to the musicians who were playing so intensely that they actually sort of danced in their chairs. I love finding dance in unlikely places!! Ok, sorry about the length 😳
I'm so glad you loved it, too, Whitney. I had a CD of Boccherini guitar music and this piece was on it. The video interpretation just blew me away. I didn't know the difference between fandangao and flamenco either, so thank you for that. There's something very beguiling about Spanish music and the dances.
I went to the theatre this week to see Jesus Christ Superstar. Such a vibrant and energetic performance. I came away feeling uplifted and it was just what I needed having been in a slump for a few days.
Loved both the music and the visuals!
Makes me want to run out and buy some castanets!
Still love to see/hear music live...sometimes I'm a bit grumpy to leave the house but once I'm enjoying the event I'm so glad i got out!

Toasting you with my cup of ☕💃🏻
Thank you, Pamela. Love the flamenco dancer emoji!
