Do you want a source of information written by someone who has tested the science on all aspects of ageing healthily over 30 years, in one guide? Having started following the science of longevity in my forties, I’m now in my late seventies, fit and healthy, looking younger than my age and sharing how I did it.
In the book I started during lockdown, Healthy Aging Tips: A Wellness Guide to Aging, I wrote about diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, creating a positive mindset, etc. Now here’s a handy workbook for you to engage with, that complements that book and has most of the relevant information in it. It includes self-assessment tools and questionnaires for you to fill in to get a better understanding of where you are in these fields.
The workbook is for those who want to improve their mental and physical health during the second half of life. I created it assuming you’ve read Healthy Aging Tips…. but it stands alone as a tool for change. It’s so full of useful information. The book is available at the bottom of this post or in the Book Shop tab on the Life In The Second Half Home page.
The workbook is currently a 30-page PDF. It has 6 chapters corresponding to the chapters in the book, covering Mindset, Diet & Nutrition, Exercise & Activities, Sleep and Stress, Friend and Family Network, and Managing The Changes (aging brings).
It’s in colour but you can print it out in black and white to save ink, if you prefer, just alter the settings on your printer.
To own a copy of the Workbook you make a payment of £6.50 through your existing Stripe payment gateway. Options include the usual credit and debit cards, and also Apple Pay for a swift checkout experience. As soon as Stripe notifies me of a payment, bearing in mind the time differences, I email the pdf to the address used for that payment, within 24 hours.
